In the past year, expansions to the airport have resulted in a high level of passenger comfort. The International arrivals hall underwent major expansion and renovations, which increased capacity and shortened processing time for arriving international passengers.
The departures lounge tripled in size with recent renovations and passengers are enjoying community-generated artwork, improved lounge seating, new food and beverage concessions, new retail including duty free shopping and a children’s activity area.
Passengers traveling through Hamilton International Airport are delighted by the warm reception that they receive from the Hamilton International Ambassadors.
These dedicated volunteers greet visitors upon their arrival at hi. They assist our visitors in any way they can to ensure a pleasant and relaxing travel experience.
hi passengers are entitled to a very popular perk. With their same day boarding pass, passengers are given free admission to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. This world-class museum draws visitors from around the globe, and is a short 4-minute walk from the terminal building. It is a great way to spend time, while waiting for their flight.
