Varadero offers more than 20 km of white sandy beaches. It is considered by many to be one of the world’s best beaches.  It is situated on the Hicacos Peninsula, between the Bay of Cárdenas and the Straits of Florida, some 140 km east of Havana. It is home to over 50 different hotels and resorts. It has an average year round temperature of 25 °C (77 °F).

There are packages available to fit all budgets. All inclusive resorts are the most popular. They allow you to pay a set price per day for all of your food, drinks, accommodations and most activities. Most resorts are located directly on the  beach, so you never have far to walk. Varadero offers lots of great optional activities like golfing, horseback riding, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, jeep tours and many others. At night, you can dance the night away at one of the local night clubs or attend a traditional Cuban Tropicana show.

Havana is the capital of Cuba. It is a short drive from Varadero. Havana allows you to go back in time. Take a ride in a 1950’s Ford or Chevy. Visit the cigar and rum factories and see how the products are made. There are also various museums you might want to visit like Museum of the Revolution, Museum of Decorative Arts or The National Museum of Fine Arts of Havana. Due to Havana’s almost five hundred years existence, the city boasts some of the most diverse styles of architecture in the world. From castles built in the late 16th century to modernist present-day high-rises.In 1982, it was declared a historic center by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The City is noted for its history, culture, architecture and monuments.
