Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. operating as flycentraleurope.com located in St. Catharines, Ontario has voluntarily terminated its Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002 registration to do business as a travel retailer and as a travel wholesaler in Ontario effective May 17, 2011.
The following is a guide to assist consumers and travel agents with future bookings – please read the Advisory in its entirety to ensure that you have been fully informed:
Flights to Budapest, Krakow and Prague originating from Hamilton, ON and Chicago, Illinois on Air Italy Polska
Flycentraleurope.com sold flights on Air Italy Polska to Budapest, Krakow and Prague departing from Hamilton, ON and Chicago, Illinois. All flights were to commence on May 27, 2011 and continue through to September 21, 2011. These flights will not be operating with Panorama Travel and Tours Ltd.
Consumers who purchased their Air Italy Polska flights directly from Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. (flycentraleurope.com) or through a registered Ontario travel agency:
Consumers may request a claim form from TICO against the Travel Compensation Fund - click here to request a claim form or consumers may also contact TICO directly at 1-888-451-8426 or (905) 624-6241 or email: tico@tico.ca to request a claim form.
Please note that there is a legislated 6 month claim filing deadline.
Consumers who paid by credit card and the payment was processed by Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. (flycentraleurope.com) should contact their credit card company and request a chargeback (refund) as well as request a claim form from TICO.
Consumers who purchased their travel services through an Ontario registered travel agency (other than Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd) should contact their travel agent for information with respect to alternate travel arrangements and request a claim form from TICO against the Travel Compensation Fund.
Consumers who purchased their Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. (flycentraleurope.com) from an out-of-province travel agency (ex. a travel agency located in the U.S.A.):
There is no provision under Ontario Regulation 26/05 pursuant to the Travel Industry Act, 2002 for a consumer to claim on the Compensation Fund when they have purchased travel services from an out-of-province travel agency. TICO can only recommend that you contact your travel agency for further assistance.
Other travel services purchased from Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. with future departures
Panorama Travel & Tours Limited also sold various other travel services including air only, packaged holidays and tours.
Consumers who have booked and purchased travel services with future departures directly from Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd.
Consumers who have booked and purchased their travel services directly from Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. and have a future departure should contact TICO at 1-888-451-8426or (905) 624-6241or email: tico@tico.ca to obtain assistance and information on the status of their booking.

Consumers should contact their travel agent for information with respect to whether the travel services are still available to be received and/or alternate travel arrangements. Travel agents may contact TICO for information at 1-888-451-8426or (905) 624-6241or email: tico@tico.ca obtain assistance and information on the status of their booking.
Consumers who purchased travel services from an out-of-province travel agency (ex. a travel agency located in the U.S.A.) who in turn booked with Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd:

TICO can only recommend that you contact your travel agency for further assistance.
Filing a claim against the OntarioTravel Industry Compensation Fund:
Please note that there is a 6-month filing deadline from the date that Panorama Travel & Tours Ltd. ceased to carry on business. The filing deadline date is November 18, 2011. Claims received at TICO beyond the filing deadline date will not be valid. Therefore, it is important to submit your claim prior to the filing deadline. Should you not be able to obtain a chargeback (refund) from your credit card company or obtain all the documentation required in order to substantiate your claim in a timely manner,please submit your claim as is to ensure your claim is received prior to the deadline date. Any additional documentation that is required to complete the claim can be sent to TICO when it is obtained.
Should consumers and/or travel agents have any questions or are uncertain about their circumstances after reviewing this Advisory, please feel free to contact TICO to review your circumstances and obtain some guidance as to whether you may have an eligible claim against the Travel Compensation Fund and/or information as to whether or not your travel services are still available to be received.
