We recently had the pleasure of speaking at the annual Hamilton CARP Christmas Social held at the Meridian Credit Union in Ancaster. Carlos Duchesne, Hamilton Chapter Chair organized a Cuban-themed evening of information, fellowship and Christmas cheer featuring some of our community partners. Karen Medweth, Director of Marketing spoke to members about Hamilton International Airport and about sun destination flights through Hola Sun and WestJet this winter departing from Hamilton.
CARP is a national, non-partisan, non-profit organization committed to a ‘New Vision of Aging for Canada’ promoting social change that will bring financial security, equitable access to health care and freedom from discrimination. CARP is committed to building a strong sense of common cause and common voice with a broad diversity of individuals, groups and communities. Chapters also provide an opportunity to work with like-minded individuals to help make their communities better places to live.
At Hamilton International Airport we strongly believe in the importance of community involvement. Our involvement in local events, charitable causes, and educational development allows Hamilton International to show its passion for Hamilton and the greater community. Thank you to Carlos for being such a gracious host and giving us the opportunity to reach out to the CARP community.
